Modern Art and Volleyball

Aight, so I had to include one horribly cheesy picture, so that is why I have juxtaposed it with the picture below... I doubt anyone will be able to determine the identity of the photo that is below and to the left (it is a truly horrible picture). I almost forgot to take a pic of the front of Le Musee d'Art Moderne de la Ville de Paris, so I snapped this one from Laure's car as we were leaving (Laure is renting one of the rooms at Michele's house). This museum is home to the city's collection of modern art, including work by Matisse, Picasso, and Rouault. The building is pretty sweet too- it housed the world fair in 1937. The picture I took doesn't do it justice.
After touring the museum, which was free = sweet, I had to go to the tourist mecca of Paris: Le Palais de Chaillot. I took it as a complement that vendors ignored me and didn't try to sell me a mini-Eiffel tour on a key chain. I try to avoid the superficial touristy sections of Paris; it is a little sickening. Le Palais de Chaillot can be seen behind the Tour d'Eiffel from Le Champs au Mars (below right)

I took the third picture (above right) while I was attending an international sand volleyball competition with my friend Paul. There were cuties from all over, but I gotta say the Brazilian babes were the hottest. I ran out of batteries in my camera, so that is why there aren't "better" pictures of the volleyball players:)
